Anyone looking into Happy Valley real estate will appreciate the many excellent city amenities. The parks are one of the many ways that people from Happy Valley homes get together for fresh air, fun, and exercise. Happy Valley Park is a wonderful place to explore. The park includes 24 acres of wetlands. There’s a boardwalk through the wetlands that allows visitors to observe the many species of wildlife that make their homes in the park. There’s also a paved pathway that encircles the park, providing a circuit that is three quarters of a mile long.
Feel free to bring your dog to run free at the Happy Valley real estate location. There are three different areas at the southern end of the park which are fully fenced and allow dogs to be off leash. You’ll also find water fountains for both dogs and humans, so everyone can stay hydrated.
Families from Happy Valley Homes Have a Blast at the Splash Pad
Kids from Happy Valley love going to the park. In the summer, the splash pad is a popular place to cool off. The splash pad opens on the Saturday before Memorial Day and stays open through Labor Day. There is no standing water, instead streams, sprays, and showers for kids to splash and play. A drinking fountain and restroom are located close to the splash pad for visitors’ convenience. Kids can also have a blast and get their wiggles out on the playground, teeter totters, and swings.
Adults should get a group together to play basketball, tennis, volleyball, or horseshoes. Pack a picnic to enjoy in the shade. If you’re planning a party, consider holding it at the park. Reservations must be made in person and are very affordable, especially for Happy Valley residents. There are three covered picnic areas, two of which have barbecues and electricity. The gazebo is the fourth area and also has electricity.
